Author Guidelines

The Bengkulu Muhammadiyah University Public Health International Conference welcomes original research papers, review articles, and case studies related to public health and its interdisciplinary fields, in accordance with the conference focus and scope.

General Requirements

• Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

• All submissions must be written in English.

• Papers should demonstrate scientific rigor, clear methodology, and relevant contributions to public health knowledge and practice.

Manuscript Structure

Manuscripts should be prepared using the following structure:

• Title

• Author(s) Name(s) and Affiliation(s)

• Abstract (150–250 words)

• Keywords (3–5 keywords)

• Introduction

• Literature Review (if applicable)

• Methods / Methodology

• Results and Discussion

• Conclusion

• Acknowledgements (optional)

• References

Formatting Guidelines

• File format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)

• Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt

• Line spacing: Single spacing (1.0)

• Page size: A4

• Manuscript length: 6–12 pages, including tables and references

Citation and References

All citations and references must follow the APA 7th Edition style. Authors are responsible for ensuring that all references are relevant, accurate, and properly cited.

Submission and Review Process

All submitted manuscripts will undergo a peer-review process to ensure quality, originality, and relevance. Authors may be required to revise their manuscripts based on reviewers’ and editors’ comments before final acceptance.

Publication Fee

The conference applies a no-fee policy. There are no submission fees and no article processing charges (APC) for accepted papers.

Ethical Considerations

Authors must comply with the conference publication ethics policy. Manuscripts containing plagiarism, duplicate publication, or unethical research practices will be rejected.
